There are three main stages involved in passing your motorbike test. These are the Theory Test, Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) and the Practical Bike Test The theory test consists of 50 multiple choice questions and a hazard perception test. You may take your theory test before or after you complete your compulsory basic training, but both must be completed before you can take or even apply for your practical test.
